After a 6-month application phase, several application stages and quite a few startups, Digicust has finally been accepted into the leading European B2B Tech Accelerator Program of Startup Wise Guys.
The decisive factor for the acceptance was that Digicust has made it to take care of the complete process from the transmission of customs documents to the creation of the finished customs declaration by means of digitalization and automation with Digicust's virtual customs robot Dexter IDP. No changes need to be made to the company's own IT infrastructure. Dexter IDP builds on existing IT infrastructures to quickly and flexibly complete thousands of customs declarations per day at a fraction of the cost.
G. Engemayr Zoll & Consulting GmbH, Zoll.Ution and Rüdinger Spedition already satisfied users
The successful companies G. Englmayr Zoll & Consulting GmbH from Upper Austria, the German Zoll.Ution GmbH and Rüdinger Spedition GmbH are among others already existing customers of Digicust. Through these customers, Digicust has indirectly created the customs declarations of over 700+ industrial companies, making the work of customs service providers much easier. Visible increases in scalability and quality of customs processing have already been documented via case studies on the website.
"Dexter IDP is an adaptive application that allows us to digitalize relevant data from PDF customs documents, saving significant data entry effort without user intervention. In addition, extensive data is available in a shorter time, which facilitates our daily business through programmed automation and ensures greater accuracy by reducing data entry errors," describes Christina Heigrodt, Managing Director of Zoll.Ution GmbH.
Digicust addresses a market potential of €42 billion worldwide, which Europe's leading B2B tech accelerator startup Wise Guys also recognized and invested in the startup.
"With the support of Startup Wise Guys, we will focus on scaling and further developing our customs-tech and our business model with the aim to offer automated end-to-end document processing to customers globally, across industries," Matthias Pfeiler CMO and Co-Founder continued.
Digicust currently has its first seed round of financing for international expansion underway. With startup Wise Guys on board, talks with different co-investors are already in the final phase. "We are in good exchange with potential investors. The interest is great, the difficulty often lies in the technical understanding of the topic. We would like to close the seed round by the end of the year. However, we do not accept any further investors for this round," concludes Borisav Parmakovic, CEO and Co-Founder.
