In the first part of our blog series on the most important pillars in AI integration, we discussed the general starting position and the first and most important pillar: the human component. Contrary to what some experts have said, AI without humans will not be a model for the future. In this article we will talk about the second pillar, the technical systems.
Technical systems: AI requires networked and forward thinking The practical use of AI systems often goes beyond the simple installation of software and its connection to a database. As the amount of data, sensor technology and integration into existing applications increases, fundamental questions about the overall architecture arise. While manual data exports can still be used in the context of a project, in practice an integration of data sources, existing systems and a practicable device management for sensor administration is often indispensable. What does the system look like in detail, where does the integration take place, which implementation steps are necessary, and how can these aspects be taken into account without creating unnecessary technical or organisational liabilities for the future?
The next part of our blog series will be about the organisation and how AI can be optimally used in the company. So stay tuned and discover with us the unlimited possibilities of AI application in customs clearance.
